Works on this impressive barn conversion in Semington, Wiltshire are currently underway, and you can already see how extraordinary the finished article will be from the progress photos.

Previously a cowshed, the renovations undertaken so far have been extensive, with the original building being taken back to its concrete-frame shell, before being transformed into the imposing structure that stands there today.

We’re also hugely proud to be working on such an incredible project that aligns so well with our ethos of promoting sustainable construction. This innovative build boasts a number of sustainable features which were integral to its design, such as the inclusion of a ground source heat pump and rainwater harvesters, as well as an MVHR vent system. That focus on sustainability was also key when it came to selecting the barn’s exterior, which includes triple-glazed EcoHome windows, as well as charred larch and locally supplied brimstone sycamore cladding.

Once completed, this project will come together with a variety of high-end finishes, such as walnut linings and doors, underfloor heating, and an impressive internal atrium which will bring light into the home, offering a stunning contrast with its striking dark exterior.

We’re always looking for innovative new projects like this barn conversion, so if you’re looking for a contractor with experience in high-end construction for an upcoming build, please click here to contact us and discuss your requirements.
